通常來說，考生在進(jìn)行雅思作文寫作中。除了要抓住題目核心之外，就是要對考生寫的話題要有鮮明的觀點(diǎn)和充分的論據(jù)。尤其是對論據(jù)的敘說，因?yàn)橛^點(diǎn)很好被提出來，重點(diǎn)就是你選用的題材是不是很恰當(dāng)。同時(shí)有良好的方法將論據(jù)一一延展。文章應(yīng)該有一條無形的線貫穿始終，任何偏離文章總觀點(diǎn)的內(nèi)容都應(yīng)該被刪除，哪怕那些段落和句子非常亮眼。

2.兩個(gè)觀點(diǎn)的討論。提問方式：Discuss both opinions and give your own idea.

3.討論現(xiàn)象或事物的利弊。提問方式：Do the advantages of... outweigh the disadvantages? / Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of...

上述三點(diǎn)看似不同，但并沒有實(shí)質(zhì)性的差別，它們都體現(xiàn)出了唯一的寫作要求：即辯證地分析題目中提出的討論內(nèi)容并表明態(tài)度。其實(shí)，如果按照國外預(yù)科語言課程寫作題型分類來判斷，Argumentation(議論文)類題型分為三種Influence，Prediction，Solution;這種題型的分類更注重寫作任務(wù)本身，而非題目的表面陳述方式。

考生在使用詞匯和短語的時(shí)候，一定要切記不要重復(fù)用詞，最好能用多種表達(dá)方式去表現(xiàn)句子含義，這樣才能體現(xiàn)考生用詞豐富。此外，很多考生覺得記同義詞就可以解決上述問題，但依舊得不了高分，其實(shí)是很多相近意思的詞匯存在很多細(xì)節(jié)和適用語境的差別。例如要表達(dá)“小心的”，careful為最一般意義的小心，cautious則是“警覺”，meticulous有“一絲不茍”的含義，scrupulous是在“正直”前提下表現(xiàn)出的細(xì)心謹(jǐn)慎。這幾個(gè)單詞不能隨意換用，而要根據(jù)描述的對象與程度來選用。另外最基本重要的就是用詞準(zhǔn)確性。一切使用不當(dāng)?shù)脑~匯都會斷送分?jǐn)?shù)。雅思考官對微小錯(cuò)誤的懲罰力度極大，不論是基礎(chǔ)語法還是詞匯，連續(xù)的失誤可能導(dǎo)致分?jǐn)?shù)0.5-1分的懲罰，這與口語類似。由于較生僻的詞匯一般有很具體的應(yīng)用情景，稍有不當(dāng)都可能給考官生搬硬套的印象，甚至直接影響最終成績。

很多考生在進(jìn)行雅思寫作的時(shí)候，總偏愛用幾種句型替換寫，而不在乎是不是合適的。因此選擇合適的語法結(jié)構(gòu)可以使句子意思的表達(dá)更為精確和簡練。以下是在考慮選擇何種語法結(jié)構(gòu)時(shí)可以參考的原則。

1.在雅思寫作中，一個(gè)句子的主語和謂語動詞應(yīng)該能夠反映句子中的最重要的意思。例如：

The situation that resulted in my grandfather's not being able to study engineering was that his father needed help on the farm.

從意思上來分析，上面這句話需要表達(dá)的重要的概念是“grandfather's not being able to study”.

在表達(dá)這個(gè)概念時(shí)，原句用的主語是situation,謂語動詞是was,不能強(qiáng)調(diào)需要表達(dá)的重點(diǎn)概念，可以改為下面這句話：

My grandfather couldn't study engineering because his father needed help on the farm.

2.在雅思寫作中，避免頻繁使用“there be”結(jié)構(gòu)。

例如：There were 25 cows on the farm that my grandfather had to milk every day. It was hard work for my grandfather.

可以改為：

My grandfather worked hard. He had to milk 25 cows on the farm every day.

更簡潔的句式為：

My grandfather worked hard milking 25 cows daily.

3.在雅思寫作中，把從句改為短語或單詞。

例如：Dairy cows were raised on the farm, which was located100 kilometers from the nearest university and was in an area that was remote.

簡潔的表達(dá)方式為：

The dairy farm was located in a remote area, 100 kilometers to the nearest university.

4.在雅思寫作中，僅在需要強(qiáng)調(diào)賓語而不是主語的時(shí)候，才使用被動語態(tài)。

例如：In the fall, not only did the cows have to be milked, but also the hay was mowed and stacked by my grandfather's family.

本句不夠簡潔的原因是本句的重心應(yīng)該是“忙碌的家庭-my grandfather's family”.

而使用了被動語態(tài)后，仿佛重心變成了cows和hay,下面的表達(dá)方式是主動語態(tài)，相對來說更簡潔一些：

In the fall, my grandfather's family not only milked the cow but also mowed and stacked the hay.

Trade and travel would be a lot easier with a single, global currency that we all use.

Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Would a single currency cause any problems?

It is clear to me that the idea of a single global currency is an excellent ideal to work towards. There can be no doubt that trade and travel would be vastly easier. On the other hand I believe that it would cause problems today.

The benefits of a single currency can be seen with the use in Europe of the Euro. Whenever you are travelling between countries using the Euro, the problems of currency changing and exchange rates are history. Similarly business between countries using the Euros is so much easier; no more worrying about exchange rate risk and pricing. Everyone?s money is the same. The same thing is true with the US dollar. Most countries do not use the US dollar but it is accepted in many places. There are many countries that you can travel to and just take US dollars to use.

At present though a global currency would be impossible. Firstly most countries would not accept the idea. Secondly all countries are in different economic states. Some are economically very strong and some are in a state of collapse with inflation ruining the economy. Such countries could not be brought into a world currency as it would cause massive financial instability worldwide. So it is clear that a global currency would indeed cause some serious problems.

So, in conclusion I see a global currency as a future ideal but it will not happen in my lifetime. It would make trade and travel much easier but the problems it would cause nowadays would be insurmountable.

Man, through the ages, has undergone many changes from the time when he depicted a herd of mammoths on the walls of his cave to these days when he can create beautiful pictures and even make coffee by use of computer technologies without leaving his favorite chair. The 20th century made huge steps in developing computer technologies and reached many goals that made our life much easier. What should we expect in the 21st century?

First of all, I think that the pace of our life will speed up: we will move faster from one place to another, from one continent to another using high speed jet airplanes. Second of all, I believe that we will be able to do many things that take much time now without leaving our house. Computers will be everywhere including out clothes. Many people will have chips and mini computers inserted in their heads to hold huge amount of information and have a quick access to it.

But what will be the most amazing thing in the 21st century is the flights to the outer space and Mars that will be available to all people. Scientists say that Mars has many things similar to the Earth's. Moreover, they say that with the help of modern technology people can artificially create conditions that will allow people to live there on the constant basis.

To sum up, I am sure that many amazing changes will be brought by the 21st century. Furthermore, I think that with the help of the contemporary technologies people can do many things that were even difficult to imagine a century ago. So, nowadays it is rather difficult and even impossible to imagine all changes that will happen in the next decades.
